Since Tosan Evbuomwan was dismissed by the Detroit Pistons last week, Sochan and London-born original Anunoby are the only two NBA players with British ties.
Why aren’t there more, and who are they?
Perhaps the most recognizable British-affiliated name in the NBA right now is Jeremy Sochan, a power forward with the San Antonio Spurs.
Born in America, Sochan, 21, grew up in England and played for several English teams, most notably the Solent Kestrels of Southampton.
He was selected as the ninth overall by the Spurs in the first round of the 2022 NBA draft.
Sochan has already participated in 130 games with the Texas-based team and is approaching his team.
