Tory Lanez, Megan Thee Stallion’s ex-partner, has become involved in a new legal development in her defamation case.
On February 24, Megan’s lawyers submitted a motion to the US District Court asking for Lanez to be questioned under oath, said Rolling Stone.
Lanez, whose official name is Daystar Peterson, was asked to be deposed in the petition about the star’s lawsuit against blogger Milagro Cooper.
His testimony is required to look into the blogger’s activities and her relationship to Lanez, according to the complaint.
When asked about the case, Lanez has not objected. The deposition might be conducted by videoconference or another mutually agreed upon means, according to Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga’s approval of the motion.
