On Sunday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed gratitude to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Intelligence Bureau (IB) personnel and authorities for apprehending the head of a notorious gang that engaged in human trafficking.
In a meeting with FIA and IB officials and authorities, which was aired live on national television channels and attended by ministers and the interior secretary, the prime minister expressed the hope that the horrible practice of human trafficking would be permanently eradicated thanks to the agencies’ unrelenting and admirable efforts.
He expressed gratitude for Usman Jajja’s arrest in connection with multiple human trafficking cases, stating: “Pakistan has a negative reputation due to the illicit people trafficking industry.
