For those who have experienced sexual misbehavior at work, the health service also intends to provide pastoral care and perhaps offer special leave.
The news report revealed that assault and harassment are “rife” in the EMS service.
Numerous paramedics have already voiced their concerns about a culture that tolerates being touched or the target of offensive remarks and jokes.
Some women even reported being coerced into sexual acts or threatened with rape in order to maintain their positions, and one female paramedic attempted suicide after being it.
Additionally, whistleblowers said they were chastised or shunned for voicing their concerns.
However, other workforces have come under investigation when NHS England issued a warning that sexual misconduct is “a problem right across the health service”.
