According to reports, at around two in the morning, a group of dacoits broke into the residence where Abdul Maalik Mosani, a resident of Basti Eesa Mosani, was sleeping with his family. They then kidnapped him.
The armed thugs threatened the family members with guns when they made an effort to resist.
This is the second incidence of this kind in as many weeks, the first having been the kidnapping of two Hindus from the Bhong police precinct and another Machka citizen named Saleem. Typically, dacoits use honey traps, orchards, or roadways to abduct victims.
According to a police spokeswoman, the Bhong station house officer is leading a search operation in the area after DPO Rizwan Umar Gondal became aware of the occurrence. He added that officials have sent out a sizable police contingent.
