LONDON: The Pakistan High Commission in London filed a complaint alleging that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists attacked Justice (retired) Qazi Faez Isa and the High Commission’s diplomatic vehicle outside the Middle Temple on October 28. However, the City of London Police decided not to pursue any action against anyone because there was insufficient evidence.
At the Foreign Office’s direction, the Pakistan High Commission filed the complaint with the police, requesting that they examine the video of the purported assault and identify the perpetrators.
The police advised the High Commission there were insufficient reasons to take any action against anyone, according to a source with knowledge of the case’s evolution. The matter has been closed.
