Yashma Gill has stated that she is not leaving the entertainment business and that her remarks on religious preacher Dr. Zakir Naik, which she made during his introduction at a lecture at Governor House in Karachi, were taken out of context.
Gill said in an Instagram story that she shared on Sunday night that she went to the gathering to talk about her spiritual path and her personal challenges. She admitted that background noise and microphone technical difficulties may have contributed to the unclear delivery of her remarks.
“I made a statement that may have led to the misunderstanding that I’m leaving acting,” she stated, underlining her devotion to her profession in the entertainment business.
