Recently, a youth conference was conducted in Wana, South Waziristan, bringing together a sizable number of young people to talk about their possibilities for the future and regional development. The Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa South hosted the event with the intention of bringing young people together to discuss their part in the development and safety of the region.
The main visitor was Frontier Corps South Inspector General Major General Mehr Omar Khan. He stressed in his speech the vital role that youth play in the development of the country and issued a warning against the damaging effects of social media misinformation.
The efforts of the Frontier Corps and the Pakistan Army to uphold regional security and peace were enthusiastically endorsed by the participants. They also recognized the military’s contributions to regional development initiatives in the fields of healthcare, education, and other fields.
