KARACHI: On Tuesday night in the Sakhi Hasan neighborhood of the city, a teenage YouTuber was shot and killed by a security guard while filming a cricket match amidst the T20 World Cup craze.
The incident happened at the crowded Serena mobile market, where witnesses said that Saad Ahmed, 24, was making a video about the match while conversing with shops.
According to the eyewitnesses, he opened fire on the security guard, Gul Hassan, when he attempted to discuss the video with him.
Social media users saw the security guard approaching the YouTuber and then shooting him in the closed circuit television (CCTV) footage.
