The visual flare and overall storytelling of Zack Snyder have renowned director Christopher Nolan in awe.
The renowned director, who oversees Oppenheimer, commented on the technique of the renowned filmmaker, telling The Atlantic, “I see Zack’s influence in every superhero science-fiction film that comes out these days.”
There is a history of the directorial team’s relationship in the interim. The 53-year-old’s brilliant proposal, the Man of Steel tale, received the director of The Dark Knight’s full attention, Variety reports.
“You see and feel his love for the potential of cinema when you watch a Zack Snyder film,” he added in an interview with the magazine.
Noting, “It has the capacity to move and excite you while remaining fantastical and elevated in reality,”
Christopher had previously supported Zack’s contentious endeavors, like in 2009’s Watchmen.
He stated, “He always felt ‘Watchmen’ was ahead of its time,” to The Hollywood Reporter. It subverts the superhero team concept so effectively that it wasn’t even a thing in movies at the time.”
“It would have been fascinating to see it released after Avengers,” the speaker continued.
