Ahead to the 26th Constitutional Amendment’s passage in the Parliament House, Zain Qureshi, Riyaz Fatyana, Aslam Ghuman, and Miqdad Ali Khan have received show-cause notices from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for disobeying party directives.
PTI said in its show-cause notice to lawmakers, sent out by the party’s central secretariat on Tuesday, that it had instructed all of its members in the Senate and National Assembly to stay safe, secure, and at a specified location and to refrain from communicating with anyone on behalf of the government regarding the constitutional modification.
Two days following the passage of the 26th Constitutional Amendments, supported by the ruling coalition government.
