KARACHI: On Wednesday, renowned Islamic teacher Dr. Zakir Naik will land in Karachi for a formal 10-day visit. While there, he will attend significant gatherings and give a speech.
Dr. Zakir will be met at the airport by Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, and Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab. According to police sources, security for the state visitor would be provided by Sindh Police’s Special Security Unit (SSC).
The well-known figure, who departed India in 2016, is expected to meet with several prominent Pakistani religious figures, such as Mufti Taqi Usmani, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Mufti Abdul Rahim, the head of Jamia Tur Rasheed, and others.
Together with touring a significant government facility on October 4, he will also have meetings with high ranking bureaucrats and Sindhi authorities.
