Zayn Malik is expressing regret to his fans for abruptly calling off his show in Newcastle.
For those who were unaware, the 31-year-old singer’s first solo tour, Stairway to the Sky, was set to include a performance at the O2 City Hall on December 3.
Zayn told the news, “I just want to say I’m sorry to everyone in Newcastle yesterday.”
“I apologize for missing the show yesterday; my voice wasn’t working at all,” the crooner remarked, revealing the reason for the cancellation.
The Magic singer continued, “I appreciate everyone showing love and still being here. I needed a day to kind of rest.”
Before this, the ex-member of One Direction wrote on his Instagram Stories: “I’m so sorry to do this.”
