Kevin Costner and ex-wife Christine Baumgartner are no longer married.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the estranged couple finalized their divorce on February 16.
Christine’s lawyers filed a letter with a court in Santa Barbara, California, requesting that both parties be excused from taking a co-parenting course.
The 69-year-old actor and designer have previously agreed to keep joint custody of their three children, Cayden (16), Hayes (15), and Grace (13).
Back in September, Kevin’s spokesman informed the outlet that the pair “have come to an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings.”
Christine filed for divorce on May 1, 2023, after 18 years of marriage, and listed her separation from Kevin as February 11.
She has subsequently moved on, confirming her new relationship with financier Josh Connor.
According to a source who spoke with US Weekly in January, Kevin had long suspected that “something was going on between Christine and Josh.”
