In a heated discussion that aired on Sunday, “60 Minutes” host Scott Pelley challenged the Moms for Liberty co-founders regarding sexually graphic novels being taught in schools.
According to Tina Descovich, co-founder of Moms for Liberty, “we love teachers,” Pelley was told. “My kids’ teachers have been the finest. The best teachers I’ve ever had have affected and influenced me.”
However, Descovich continued, “there are rogue teachers in American classrooms right now.”

Moms for Liberty co-founder Tiffany Justice stated, “Parents send their children to school to be educated, not indoctrinated into ideology.”
“What ideology are they being indoctrinated into?” Pelley queried.
In response, Descovich said, “Let’s just say that American children cannot read.”
