Since taking that one chance, country music has never failed to disappoint Reba McEntire.
Thursday, May 16, in Frisco, Texas, marks the 17th time that the “Fancy” singer will take the stage to emcee the Academy of Country Music Awards. Nearly thirty years ago, she won the entertainer of the year honor.
Reba will perform her most recent hit, “I Can’t,” live at the program in addition to hosting. Her performance follows the announcement that NBC has chosen to air her “Happy’s Place” pilot on Friday nights starting in the autumn.
Don’t be deceived if McEntire seems to have a full plate. She lifts heavy things all the time.
The relationship between Reba Centire and her new sitcom, which also stars her boyfriend Rex Linn, comes full circle.
Reba McEntire, a country music icon, makes a bold comeback to comedy: “This is not my first rodeo.”
