In a statement, the Utility Stores Corporation spokeswoman stated that the government has received a summary of the PM relief package.
The representative denied the reports of price increases at Utility Stores and stated that the package is still available to the general public and Benazir Income Support Program recipients as usual.
Speculation regarding the termination of the PM relief package has been put to rest by the Utility Stores Corporation’s statement.
It is important to note that the PM’s and Ramadan packages received a total of Rs 65 billion in funding from the budget, of which Rs 10 billion went toward the PM’s Ramadan Relief Package and the rest Rs 55 billion went toward the PM’s Relief Package.In addition, Rs 35 billion were set aside for the current fiscal year under the PM’s package.
