For the third day in a row, Pakistani gold prices increased on Friday, reflecting gains in global markets.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the cost of a tola of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,100, to Rs244,000.
The cost of 10-gram 24-karat gold also saw an increase, going from Rs944 to Rs209,534. This comes after a hike of Rs857 in the price per tola on Thursday.
On Friday, the cost of 10 grams of 22-karat gold stayed at Rs192,072.

On Friday, the global gold market also saw increases. The global rate was $2,364 per ounce, up $9 during the trading session, according to APGJSA.
