Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, wished former US President Donald Trump a speedy recovery and denounced the attack on him on Sunday during an electoral rally.
“I recently found out that former President Trump was shot during a political event. This is an unexpected turn of events. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the prime minister declared, “I condemn all forms of violence in politics.”
“Wish the former President swift recovery and good health.”
The attack on the former US president in Pennsylvania was also “strongly” denounced by President Asif Ali Zardari.
President Zardari expressed horror over the attack and stated that violence of this kind has no place in politics.
In addition to wishing Trump a swift recovery, he sent his deepest sympathies for the attack’s fatalities.

Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gilani called the situation a regrettable one but denounced the attack in his statement.
Political violence, according to him, has no place in democracies. He also conveyed his best wishes for the former president’s speedy recovery.
Trump was shot in the ear during a Saturday campaign rally, causing his security guards to encircle him and splattering blood across his face. He then came out and shook his fist in the air while mouthing the words “Fight! Fight! Fight!”
