On live television, Jenna Bush made a joke call to her cohost, Hoda Kotb.
During a Thursday, July 25, broadcast of Today with Hoda & Jenna, the 42-year-old American novelist had a plan to make a prank call to Kotb.
It is important to note that Bush Hager and Donna Farizan co-host alongside Kotb when she is in Paris for the 2024 Olympics.
Bush Hager got the similar idea after seeing Billie Eilish recently appear on “Phoning It In with Elle,” where she playedfully called her well-known friends Tyler, the Creator, Dakota Johnson, and Margot Robbie.
Calls were initially answered by a busy tone, then Kotb responded sarcastically on the second attempt.”You’re broadcasting! That was something I was concerned about. Bush Hager said with a chuckle.
Jenna went on, “I’m serious when I say that I have awful news. I don’t have a co-host because Donna had to depart. Would you be able to FaceTime?
Kotb asked with confusion, “Wait, what?”
Can you join me on FaceTime? You are necessary to me. Take immediate action. “I need you,” implored Bush Hager.
Bush Hager informed Hoda that she was joking as soon as she accepted the FaceTime invitation, and Farizan made her presence known.
