Details of complaints filed in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) against PTI founder Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, were supplied by the Rawalpindi Police.
Bushra Bibi has been charged in 11 crimes by the Rawalpindi Police as of May 9. CPO Rawalpindi turned in the report to the IHC. Due to the FIA and Balochistan Police’s failure to appear in court with their response, the hearing was postponed until Monday and they were given further notice.
In response to the court order, the NAB prosecutor filed a response. The NAB has four cases against Bushra Bibi lodged, three of which are registered in Rawalpindi, and one of which is registered in Lahore, the court was informed.The case was heard by IHC Chief Justice High Court Amir Farooq. The police from Islamabad and Rawalpindi also sent in their answers.
The latest Toshakhana referral prolonged the founder of PTI’s and his wife Bushra Bibi’s physical remand by ten days.
The accountability court mandated that the investigation’s progress report and the two accused be brought back on August 8.
Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were detained by a team from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) following their release in the Iddat Nikah case.
