The action against Lieutenant General (R) Faiz Hameed has been classified by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as an internal matter involving the Pakistan Army.
A field court martial procedure has been started against Faiz Hameed, the former director general of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), who was recently placed under military detention.
As per the directives from the Pakistan Supreme Court, the Pakistan Army carried out an extensive investigation into grievances lodged against Hameed, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The Pakistan Army Act’s disciplinary procedures were started as a result of the investigation into the Top City case.
