On Thursday, there were seismic tremors felt in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, and other parts of the nation.
Peshawar, Swat, North Waziristan, Hangu, Mardan, Malakand, Buner, Shangla, Dir, Mansehra, Battagram, Torghar, Kohistan, Abbottabad, and Kurram are among the KP cities shook by the seismic activity.
Lahore, Multan, Chakwal, and Sargodha in Punjab were also startled in the meantime.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the earthquake had a Richter scale magnitude of 5.4 and began at 10:57 a.m. Pakistan Standard Time (PST).
The Met Office further stated that the earthquake’s epicentre was 215 kilometers deep and located in Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region.
The current seismic activity occurs over 90 days following a 4.7-magnitude earthquake that rocked portions of Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and KP in June.
