LAHORE: In the midst of Pakistan’s cricket team’s captaincy problem, wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan has emerged as a strong candidate, at least initially for the white ball cricket captaincy.
According to sources who spoke with Geo News, Babar’s lack of leadership experience in the Champions One-Day Cup is a sign that he may not be the captain of the national team for the foreseeable future.
Five teams were announced on Friday by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the national Champions Cup competition. In the cricket match, Mohammad Haris, Saud Shakeel, Shadab Khan, Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi will captain their respective teams.
According to the reports, there was a good possibility that the famous batsman would be replaced later this year by a new captain.
