According to Israel’s military, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) launched the attacks late on Thursday night over the course of two hours. This was the first significant attack since earlier this week, when explosives involving pagers and walkie-talkies rocked Lebanon.

The explosives, which are attributed to Israeli operations, have left hundreds injured and 37 dead. Security sources claim that the attacks were likely carried out by Israel’s espionage organization, Mossad. The country has not responded to the reports explicitly.

Middle East most recent: IDF investigation investigating troops’ death-throwing from rooftops.

The IDF said in a statement that the rocket launcher barrels at the locations they targeted were “ready to be used immediately to fire toward Israeli territory”.

They stated that since today afternoon, the IAF has hit about 100 launchers and other terrorist infrastructure facilities, totaling over 1,000 barrels that were prepared to be fired toward Israeli land at any time.
The Israeli military reported that two of its soldiers had died in the country’s north on the same day: one was reportedly killed by a drone, and the other by an anti-tank missile fired across the Lebanese border by Hezbollah, according to local news source News.
