News from Aadhaar: The updated Aadhaar card updating guidelines have been released by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), with the goal of making the process more straightforward and giving cardholders more flexibility. The Aadhaar (Enrolment and Update) Rules have been amended to bring about these modifications, which apply to both online and offline methods.
Options for both online and offline updates
Aadhaar cardholders can now update information online or offline thanks to the new regulations. Updating the Central Identities Data Repository (CIDR) can be done via the UIDAI website, the mobile application, or by going to the closest Aadhaar Seva Kendra.
In contrast to the 2016 regulations, which mainly permitted updates of online addresses, the new guidelines have eliminated these limitations, which may allow updates of various details, including mobile numbers, online.

fresh enrollment paperwork
New forms designed for various categories have taken the place of the existing ones for Aadhaar updates and enrollment:
Form 1: Used for enrollment and updates, this form is for individuals who are 18 years of age or older who are residents or non-residents (with proof of address in India).
Form 2: Used for enrollment and updates, specifically for NRIs with proof of address outside of India.
Form 3: Intended for children who are 5 to under 18 years old (resident or non-resident alien with an Indian address).
Form 4: Designed for children of NRIs residing outside of India.
Form 5: Used for Aadhaar enrollment or updates, for resident or non-residential children under five.
Form 6: For children under five who are NRIs (with an address outside of India),

Form 7: Employed by foreign nationals who are residents and are over the age of 18, requesting enrollment or updates with information like a valid long-term visa, foreign passport, and OCI card.
Form 8: Used by foreign nationals who are residents and under the age of eighteen.
Form 9: Intended to be used for Aadhaar number cancellation upon turning eighteen.
