Popular content producer and influencer Syeda Aliza Sultan recently offered insightful counsel to young girls thinking about getting married.
Sultan, who was once married to actor Feroze Khan, spoke up about her own experiences and gave advice to anyone getting ready for this big life change during an honest Q&A session.
Sultan and Khan, who were married at the young age of 22, had a public and bitter divorce. Aliza Sultan has had difficulties, such as accusations of abuse that surfaced but were never investigated in court, but she is now concentrating on raising her two kids and going on with her life.
Sultan stressed to her audience the value of giving marriage careful thought before getting married. “Marrying a decent, responsible person is essential,” she said.
“One important quality that shouldn’t be disregarded is responsibility.”
Sultan also emphasized, using her own marriage as an example, her opinion that early marriages can be premature.
