Despite getting back to full fitness and starting for Real Madrid in the Champions League final, Courtois was not included in Belgium’s Euro 2024 squad and missed a significant portion of the previous season due to two knee injuries.
The 32-year-old, who has 102 caps, and Tedesco had a falling out in June 2023 after he left the Belgium team ahead of their Euro 2024 qualifying match against Estonia.

I acknowledge my part of the responsibility in this affair. But in the long run, my lack of faith in him would not help to preserve the required friendly environment.
