Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the supreme leader of the Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), stated on Wednesday that he respects politicians regardless of their differences.
Addressing the attorneys’ convention in Lahore, Rehman stated, “There is an urgent need to highlight the importance of the state. Sadly, the country’s constitution is not secure.
He emphasized his party’s sacrifices, stating, “We have given many great sacrifices for the sake of democracy.”
“I would like to ask from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) why the 2018 general elections were rigged but not the recently held elections,” Rehman stated in a statement.
Rehman went on to say: “The JUI-F has the narrative in terms of rigging that the rigging was held in both 2018 and 2024.”
“It is our upbringing that stops us from accepting the rigged elections,” he went on to say.
JUI-F remains steadfast in its refusal to join the government. Haideri –
A few days ago, JUI-F head Abdul Ghafoor Haideri stated that his party will not join the coalition administration.
Haideri stated exclusively on Samaa TV, “Even Nawaz Sharif has not asked the JUI-F to change its narrative.” Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed his concerns during his discussion with Nawaz Sharif.
“The final decision whether to agree with the talks with the PML-N or not will be decided following the consultations,” Haideri said in a statement.
