ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan stated on Saturday that President Arif Alvi would call his party to form the government because they had won a majority in the National Assembly.

“We have no disagreements with anyone; we just want to go forward. “We will proceed to form a government in accordance with the constitution and the law,” Gohar Khan told the reporters in Islamabad.

He stated that the people freely exercised their right to vote. The presiding officers counted the votes and prepared Form 45, he explained.

The PTI head stated that the results should be based on Form 45, as they had received all of those forms.

He stated that the economy will be unable to tolerate the suppression of people’s voices.

.

“No barriers should be erected for the PTI, and the results should be released as soon as possible. According to the law, the final results are retrieved from Form 45, and we have received all of the results,” he said, adding that the final results should be announced by 12:00 a.m. tonight.

Gohar stated that their independent candidates were in contact with them. They were faithful to the party and would remain so, he stated, adding that they would form their own administration.

He stated that the PTI would hold intra-party elections within 15 days of the end of the process. The people have given the PTI a strong mandate, he insisted. He further claimed that all the cases against the PTI founder were false.

The PTI chairman stated that they would make a decision shortly on the reserved seats as well as which party to join. He stated that they will organize peaceful protests in the seats where results had been halted.

“The workers are requested that protest is a right, but it should be peaceful,” he added.

He claimed that an attempt was made to defeat them on seats they had won. He said that the PTI won elections for 170 seats. He further stated that his party won 39 out of 35 NA seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Gohar stated that they would make a decision on the chief minister’s job after two days of discussions. He stated that his party would establish a government in Punjab as well.
