Pakistan’s gold prices rose again on Wednesday, following the world market’s upward trend. The local price per tola increased by Rs2,300 to reach Rs252,800 on Tuesday after declining on Tuesday.
The 10-gram gold experienced a rise as well; the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reports that it sold for Rs216,735, up Rs1,972.
On Wednesday, the global gold rate increased, rising $22 from the previous day to $2,413 per ounce (plus a $20 premium).
On the other hand, the price of silver per tola was steady at Rs 2,920.
This latest increase comes after the price jumped by Rs4,600 on Thursday to hit a record high of Rs254,000 per tola.
