The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) advised Karachi residents to stay hydrated on Monday because the city’s temperature is predicted to rise.
The Met Office states that for the following 24 hours, there’s a chance the port city’s heat wave may get stronger and more humid.
Balochistani hot winds from the northwest are expected to blow during the day, with a return of the sea breeze in the evening.
Furthermore, the minimum temperature was recorded at 30.5°C, and the forecast temperature range for Karachi is 38°C to 40°C.
In Karachi, the sea breezes have halted and the humidity is at 76%.
According to weather experts, “a medium-level pressure over the Arabian Sea” is expected to be established on June 30 and will bring the monsoon season to Karachi in early July.
