The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) cabinet is set to be finalised following the consent of Pakistan Tehree-e-Insaf (PTI) jailed founder Imran Khan, according to reports citing newly-elected KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Saturday.
“I would meet the PTI founder over [matters pertaining to the formation of the] KP cabinet on Monday (March 4),” Gandapur said in a statement.
According to sources, the list of probable cabinet members that would be presented to Khan in the coming days includes more than 15 names, including Mushtaq Ghani, Khaleeq ur Rehman, and Aqib Ullah Khan.
The move comes just days after freshly elected members of the province legislature were sworn in by now-former speaker Mushtaq Ghani in a raucous first assembly session.
