Social media is exploding with rumors of actor Ahsan Khan and well-known Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat working together on a new project.
Hayat, who had a significant television comeback with the drama series Ijazat, is now rumored to play the lead in an upcoming Geo Entertainment drama opposite co-star Ahsan in Meray Qatil Meray Dildaar.
Her final major motion picture was Dil Lagi, starring Humayun Saeed, whose captivating plot held the attention of the viewers.
Despite having starred in many Pakistani love films over her career, she explained why she chose not to work in Bollywood.
The Punjab Nahi Jaungi actress had previously said, “I got many offers [from Bollywood], but I declined all of them.”
