Tuesday saw an increase in gold prices in Pakistan following a day of stability, which was indicative of an upward trend in the global market.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reports that the current rate for gold per tola is Rs257,700, up Rs1,200.
In a same vein, the cost of ten grams of gold increased by Rs1,029 to Rs220,936. Ten grams of 22-karat gold are now selling for Rs202,525.
The price of gold increased by $19 to $2,458 on Friday, according to the APGJSA, continuing the increasing trend seen in the global gold market.
