Heavy, stormy rains are predicted in most districts from October 5 to 7, according to a rain advisory issued by the Punjab Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).
Authorities have warned that the rain may cause rivers and canals to fill up more quickly, which might lead to floods.
Punjab is anticipated to see heavy rains.
A PDMA representative stated that the majority of Punjab’s districts are expected to be affected by the impending period of heavy rains. Water levels may rise as a result of the anticipated precipitation in the upper reaches of rivers.
Throughout the projected period, the authority has asked the public to exercise caution and heed safety advice.
