Shehbaz Sharif addressed the PML-N supremo in Jati Umra. On this occasion, both leaders reviewed the most recent political position of JUI-F supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
A meeting of PML-N leaders was also conducted under the presidency of Nawaz Sharif. During the meeting, there was discussion on prospective names for the Punjab cabinet. The prospective names for Punjab assembly speaker and deputy speaker were also explored.
Consultations were also held on the inclusion of allies in the provincial cabinet and potential ministries in Punjab.
In the meeting, Ishaq Dar, while presenting a briefing on the joint meeting of the coordination committees of the PML-N and PPP, stated, “There has been progress in topics regarding government formation, while the third meeting of the coordination committees will be held on Friday.”.
