A shocking mass shooting in Louisiana has left eight children dead after a father opened fire during what police described as a domestic incident. The tragedy took place early Sunday morning in the city of Shreveport and has deeply shaken the local community.

According to police, the shooting started around 5:00 AM. The suspect, identified as Shamar Elkins, attacked children inside a home before fleeing the scene in a stolen vehicle. Officers quickly responded, chased him, and later shot and killed him.
