Behind closed doors, Kate Middleton is making the most of her recuperation. Following her stomach surgery, Kensington Palace announced on Monday that the Princess of Wales had been released from the hospital. The 42-year-old will continue to heal at her Windsor home, Adelaide Cottage. According to Kinsey Schofield, host of the “To Di For Daily” podcast, “I have heard that
the Princess of Wales has been responding to emails, but everything has been structured so that she is not overwhelmed or disturbed by incoming dialogue,” Fox News Digital reported.
After a lengthy hospital stay and abdominal surgery, Kate Middleton returns home, saying she is “making good progress.”
Schofield said, “Kate is not a rule breaker.” “She won’t feel behind if she follows the doctor’s instructions and participates when she can. Although I don’t think we’ll see her in person until Easter, I think she’s busy behind the scenes.”
The wife of Prince William had “planned abdominal surgery” at The London Clinic the day before, the palace disclosed on January 17.
“The surgery was successful, and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for 10 to 14 days before returning home to continue her recovery,” a statement issued by the palace at the time. “Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.”
The palace announced on Monday that the monarch “is making good progress.”
According to sources close to the family, Middleton has had a lot of support at home from her spouse, their three kids, and numerous royal fans who are hoping for a quick recovery for her.
“Catherine is a very loving and affectionate parent, so there would likely be a huge hole there for the family without her,” Schofield said. “She is also quite well-behaved, which helps soothe young children. They enjoy their daily schedule.”
