Holly Valance, the former star of Neighbours and wife of British businessman Nick Candy, was present at Liz Truss’s Popular Conservatism (or “PopCon”) campaign launch on Tuesday in Westminster.

The actress, model, and former singer, whose hit song Kiss Kiss topped the charts in both the UK and Australia in 2002, made these remarks on Tuesday at the launch of Liz Truss’s Popular Conservatism, or “PopCon” movement.

In an interview at the event, Valance, who went to the Westminster protest with her British property millionaire husband Nick Candy, called the speakers “fantastic”.

“I would say that everyone starts as a leftie and then wakes up at some point after you start either making money, working, trying to run a business, trying to buy a home, and then realise what crap ideas they all are,” she stated. “And then you go to the right.”

Valance told GB News that Ms. Truss was “really, really interesting to listen to,” and then she suggested Jacob for prime minister.

Along with calling Ashfield MP and former deputy chairman of the Tory party Lee Anderson “awesome,” the 40-year-old added, “I love a northerner, straight to the point and very sensible, and for real people.”

According to the PopCon group, their goal is to start an intellectual conversation rather than unseat Rishi Sunak as Conservative leader.
