Despite having the most successful candidates in the February 8 general elections, Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) disapproved of the results on Friday, claiming that “records of rigging were set” during the electoral process.
Raoof Hassan, a PTI spokesperson, stated that the 2024 elections would be noted in the country’s history for the extent of rigging.
The comments were made at a news conference in Islamabad today, where a large number of PTI-backed independent candidates claimed to have Form 45s indicating that they had won.
