Nearly seven years after the release of her previous catalog, Shakira announced that her 12th studio album will be available on stores next month.
The singer of “Whenever, Wherever” said on Instagram that “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (Women Don’t Cry Anymore)” will be available on March 22.
Months after accepting a plea agreement and acknowledging that she had neglected to pay the Spanish government 14.5 million euros, or roughly $15.8 million, in taxes between 2012 and 2014, Shakira’s most recent piece of art makes its public debut.

With the support of her “pack of shewolves who were there for me every step of the way,” Shakira “created” her new album, she posted on Instagram.
The process of creating this body of work has been alchemical. I was reconstructing myself as I was writing each song. My tears turned into diamonds and my vulnerability into strength as I sang them.”
The worldwide artist was found guilty of tax fraud in court in November, but escaped an eight-year prison term and a $26 million fine.
