Despite her advanced age, Dolly Parton has been a mainstay in the country music industry for many years and has no intention of stopping anytime soon.
The singer-songwriter of “Jolene” recently told USA Today that she intends to work forever, saying, “I would only retire if I were sick or if my husband was sick and needed me.” The only thing that could cause me to retreat would be that.
In 1966, Parton tied the knot with retired businessman Carl Thomas Dean. She appears to be just as committed as ever as their 60th wedding anniversary draws near.
