Dua Lipa recently commented on her cameo in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie.
The 28-year-old singer, who is apparently dating Callum Turner, made an appearance on The Graham Norton Show.
In this confessional, the show presenter asked her to discuss her role in Margot Robbie’s hit film.
The Houdini hitmaker said, “It’s very embarrassing to talk about it while sitting on a sofa with major legendary actors.”
Dua was joined by Kate Winslet, Cate Blanchett, Adrian Lester, and Justin Timberlake for the interview.
Nonetheless, she stated, “But I am very proud of it, and it was so much fun.”
The singing star also discussed the smash song Dance the Night, saying, “Initially, we wrote it based on what Greta told us about the film, and we were leaning towards Barbie’s existential crisis and thoughts of death,” before admitting, “It was quite dark.”
“Then we got to see the picture, and I had modified it up a little, so we decided to write the song as a score to the dancing routines. “The entire soundtrack is incredible,” she concluded.
