Michelin chefs pick the UK’s best eateries for inexpensive dinners.

Bradley Monk of the award-winning One Fish Street in St Ives writes “Roundhouse in Penzance.” Joel creates the best focaccia sandwiches at this small restaurant in Penzance. The lightest focaccia you’ll try, with just the proper amount of salty. The next stop is Blas in St Ives. While they are well-known for their burgers, which are equally great, I would recommend the rotisserie chicken. Little Palais in St Ives may exceed the budget little, but it is completely worth it because it is very excellent. The cocktails are fantastic, the cheeseboard is by far the best in town, and the ever-changing assortment of small meals is always delicious. The view from the window table does not harm either.
