Conor McGregor, the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight and Lightweight Champion, has stated that he would return to the Octagon this summer to “bust” longtime adversary Michael Chandler, according to the Daily Mail.
The UFC champion claimed during an interview for his feature-film debut in “Road House” that he “got confirmation” of his return to the Octagon this summer versus Chandler.
The Irishman’s remarks come after he previously indicated that a fight with Chandler would take place at UFC 303 on June 29.
However, no formal announcement has been made regarding a McGregor-Chandler clash.
