LAHORE: Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), announced on Friday that the players who performed well during the Pakistan Super League season 9 will be included in the fitness and training camps.
Ahead of the New Zealand tour, Pakistani cricket players’ names were discussed at a meeting of board officials presided over by Naqvi at the PCB headquarters in Lahore. The meeting was attended by Chief Selector Wahab Riaz, PCB Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer, Director of International Cricket, and other officials.
The New Zealand team will visit Pakistan in April for a five-match T20I series, beginning on April 18, ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup, which starts in June.

“The players selected on merit and performance have the ability to produce good results,” he remarked during the meeting that examined the training camp player selection.
The head selector provided a report on the bowlers and hitters who stood out throughout the league’s just finished season.
