Though they are well renowned for their wonderful burgers, what I’m really suggesting is the rotisserie chicken. It’s a little pricey at Little Palais in St Ives, but it’s well worth it because it’s so good. The cheeseboard and the beverages are delicious.

It needs to be heartfelt in Hull if my wife and I are successful in persuading the grandparents to watch the children. The restaurant and bakery, where Ryan Telford cooks most of the food over hot coals, is a fantastic addition to Hull’s dining scene.
