Swift’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, does not contain a single tune that mentions the vocalist of 1975 by name, but fans have surmised that there are multiple allusions to him.
Swifties, her devoted followers, have speculated that the song “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” refers to Healy “ghosting” her, which is the term for when someone quits a relationship abruptly and without warning.
“You tried to buy some pills, from a friend of mine, they just ghosted you, now you know what it feels like” .
“And I don’t even want you back, I just want to know if rusting my sparkling summer was,” she says in another song.
