The military’s propaganda wing announced on Saturday that security forces have neutralized six terrorists following a gunfight during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces launched an intelligence-gathering operation (IBO) on May 3–4. This was in response to reports of terrorist activity in the area.
Six terrorists were “sent to hell” as a result of the fierce gunfight that broke out between the army and the terrorists during the operation. The statement said that during the raid, a terrorists’ hideout was also discovered.
The terrorists who were killed continued to actively participate in a number of terrorist attacks against law enforcement officials and the deliberate murder of defenseless local residents.
It ended, “The security forces are conducting a sanitization operation in the area as part of their ongoing determination to eradicate the threat of terrorism from the nation.”
According to a statement from the ISPR, security forces executed terrorists on Thursday who were responsible for the recent kidnapping of the district and sessions judge of the South Waziristan joint IBO in Tank district, KP.
